There are so many little things that can help students out with getting into a science program in graduate school, and one of those things is having a professional website. Due to my trip to Antarctica, I stopped working on my thesis, and kind of put it in the back of my mind (not the best, I know). So now that I am back in school, I have to start working on it again, thus I needed to update my website. I feel like it is back up to snuff, but it is just so frustrating all of the little things that need to be done that will help me out. And yes, I definitely think that they will help me out since I have a feeling my GRE scores will not be the best (I suck at standardized tests). I appreciate the fact that they allow all of these other options to help your chances, but I can’t help but wonder if maybe I should be focusing my efforts on something else.
I don’t know, I guess this kind of turned into a rant when all I really wanted to say was that my professional site was back up and being updated. Yup.
